Nancy and BJ's Wedding

So here are my favorite photos from this special day! It is so exciting to have my little sister married... although that means she's not little any more and neither am I :(
Nancy asked me to take pictures for their wedding and although I was a little intimidated to say the least, to do it for such a special day with just our little camera, Luke wanted to take them and so I said he could and I would be the "director" and think of the poses and get people where we needed them, etc. We found out it is a hard job to be a photographer at a wedding and get people to listen to you. It was probably worse for us because we were family so no one had to do what the "photographer" said including the bride- just kidding Nancy! (I had to tease you a little bit.) It was a lot of fun and I am grateful for Luke's help. The pictures start off with my favorite girl there, followed by some favorite random family shots, and then finally the bride and groom. Enjoy!

Quickyn and Gracie, the same size though 3 mos apart! Gracie you chunker!
Gracie will never get married...
Quickyn is ready right now!
Megan made such a beautiful cake. No one would know it was her first time.

Nancy loved her shoes; she can't wait to dye them now!

The happy and exhausted mom and dad...

Megan's awesome cake, all of it this time.
The proud, kind Grandma Shirley! We love you.
Megan with her girls in matching dresses... Hailey, Lydea, and Rebecca, so cute!
Grandma and all of her grandkids from her oldest son Bill.
All of us are in this picture except Lisa and Ben in Louisiana, Gracie and Quickyn are being babysat. Are we ever going to be all together again?
I think I am going to steal Nancy back from BJ...
Are you sick of me telling you to smile and do this, no do that... ahhh!
I love my sister!
It was so cold, but sunny. A very nice day.

I had to get one of them jumping off the steps! Cold feet Nancy!

This is my favorite picture of Nancy!

These last few are from Alta Photography- Julie Johnson was at the Logan Temple taking test shots and asked if she could follow us around and take pictures too. We lucked out because you can see the increase in quality of her camera and the wider angle. She was so kind to give Nancy and BJ all of her photos on CD, a photobook, and a few 8x10's. We couldn't believe it. Thanks Julie. Her blog is www.altaphotography.blogspot.com. he rest of the pictures are from Luke and I working together with our little camera. Someday I want to purchase a more sophisticated camera and really practice photography. I love it!

Nancy you are so pretty!
